Back in March thru May of 2011 I had an extremely good experience with Daniel Murphy. I had a young woman friend in some trouble in Douglas Co. She had been being represented by public defenders and most of them were empty suits. One exception to that was Beth Kelley, a Denver area lawyer. She was not going to able to be of any help in Douglas Co. and strongly recommended Dan Murphy. I live in Tulsa, Ok. After talking on the phone to Dan about the case a few times I sent him a retainer, which was very reasonable. Throughout the entire process, he was very responsive to his client’s needs and was always quick to keep me informed either by phone or email. One very impressive thing happened about 4 days before the main hearing on the case. Dan’s car was broken into and his work brief case was stolen. Three or four complete files of various client’s were in the brief case, including my friend’s. In that short period of time, Dan was able to re create the file through his memory and notes in time for the hearing. He was able to win a very favorable ruling for my friend that was not expected. Dan is very knowledgeable and thorough. The main thing that impressed me about him was that his client wasn’t just a means to a fee, he really cared about his client.
