I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dan, albeit under unfortunate circumstances. In May of 2014, I was wrongfully accused of a DUI and the lesser offense, a DWAI (driving while ability impaired). Having the least bit of clue how to handle the situation, I sought legal counsel immediately. Several people had recommended I talk to attorney Dan Murphy and I found out from our first meeting that wasn’t by coincidence. Dan was very professional but managed to be relatable at the same time; I knew from our first handshake that he was on my team.
To complicate matters during the entire process, I was in the middle of a job transition which required me to live out of state. Dan never batted an eye to the somewhat unusual circumstance, knowing exactly how to handle each situation or complication and often appearing on my behalf when I could not be present. Throughout the various court dates, motions hearings and preparing for jury trial, I had zero doubt that Dan knew exactly what needed to be done and always had my best interests in mind.
Dan truly believed my story from day one and was able to convincingly deliver it to the jury trial. His knowledge of law in these cases and his reputation in the legal community played a significant role in the outcome my case. I am grateful to say that, because of Dan Murphy, I am not guilty of a wrongfully accused DUI offense. Thanks Dan.
